Adding a Nadir or Zenith Patch to your 360 image

One click Nadir/Zenith Patching!

Well, maybe two or three clicks.

I know it’s only been just over a week since the last newsletter, but we’ve just rolled out another batch of updates for all you guys and gals.

The SeekBeak platform now allows you to non destructively patch the Nadir and Zenith in your images! One of our main goals is to save you time, and this is potentially a biggie for some of you. No more pre-processing patching in your tool of choice before you upload!

Since the whole process is dynamic and non-destructive, your images aren’t recompressed, or permanently patched. This also means that we can do some cool tricks, like always having your Nadir Patch facing the user, something that’s impossible if you burn in a patch via Photoshop etc. Now nobody will ever wonder what “ɯoɔ˙ʎuɐdɯoɔɹnoʎ˙ʍʍʍ” says when they’re looking at the back of your image.

Here’s a quick 1 minute video where I upload up a global Nadir patch, then quickly tweak it for a specific image:

Also new in the platform is the ability to bulk update all the preferences for an entire Snap Group! You’ll find a new dropdown at the bottom of the Snap Preferences dialog which will allow you to apply all preferences to an entire group of Snaps… huge timesaver!

If you have’t already, come be social, and ‘Like’ us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter. And as always, don’t hesitate to contact me directly with any questions or suggestions you might have.

Cheers,
